A special venue

On 26th and 27th April 2024, St Saviours, near the naval base in Plymouth, hosted Claiming Space Grace and Mia's 'Dialogue' Exhibition. It was a privilege to have two of my artworks, 'Self Portrait - Powerchair Football' and 'Taking Up Too Much Space,' selected for display.

Accessibility matters

They ensured the exhibition was accessible to everyone by installing a wooden ramp at the entrance. My artworks were positioned right by the door, making them easy for everyone to see and enjoy.

Celebrating community

The exhibition focused on the theme of 'community', and it truly lived up to this idea with a fantastic selection of artworks. The atmosphere buzzed with energy and connections, as people from all walks of life came together, talked, and shared their thoughts on the art. The turnout was great, with many attendees actively engaging with each piece.
